Quickest, Tastiest Tuna Salad

righten a quick from-the-pantry tuna sandwich into a delectablemeal, without all the chopping. 

With a 7X less fat than tuna salad* (6 grams compared to awhopping 44g!), and 16g protein punch for only 170 calories, thisis a tasty staple to have on hand. 

Ingredients

  • 1 5 oz can of tunafish - we recommend canned light yellowfintuna, handline caught in the Western Central Pacific - SeafoodWatch's "best choice" for seafood that is fishes or farmed in waysthat have less impact on the environment. The Western CentralPacific population is healthy, and handlines have very lowbycatch.
  • 1 cup (2.5oz) of Veggicopia Original Hummus

Optional toppings

  • cucumbers
  • bell peppers
  • lettuce
  • sun dried tomatoes in olive oil
  • olives
  • pickles
 

Instructions

Mix the tunafish and Veggicopia Original Hummus together. While we eat that right out of the bowl, if you can hold off eating it fora bit longer, it also pairs delightfully with fresh veggies, pickles, breads and crackers. Use it like tunafish salad on whole wheat breadsandwich or pile it on to your favorite crackers. Pile it high with fresh veggies and pickles for a delicious healhty meal.
